hey! Feliz Navidad! congratulation about arriving at ur last destination at last. i am giving you big*1000 clap :) i hope you've learned & realized lots of things from this journey. Also, hope u r having a great Christmas in NY. then, keep up the good work & take care of yourself until coming back, chang su!!
What a trip you must have had. Some have jogged it, biked it. I saw a wagon train that had went from Missouri to Oregon (must have been 1960 or so), and they were about 300 miles from their destination. So there are many ways to do what you have done. I have driven it 5 times/6 times - I forget. Loved each one of those times, but never got as close and up personal as you have. Hope you met many good people, to offset the bad drivers and others who you met. The good people are there, in the U.S., same as they are in S. Korea, and you probably met many when you were in Cuba. That must have been a trip, too. Could you possibly let me know where I could buy your other books? And when you get back to S. Korea, look me up, if you wish to. I'm an old guy, a haukwon owner/teacher living in Kyeonggi-do, Pyeongtaek-si. I will take you to some of the really beautiful sites - castle sites within 20 minutes of my house - and show you some of the things that your Korean mountains have yielded up to one who, like yourself, looks for whats over the next rise. You have my email. I'm an old guy, but you'll have a hard time keeping up, especially when the climbing of the "hill" is in the crawling mode, not walking. God bless.
I've read your Cyworld blog and I was led to this site. It's really inspiring to see that a collge student can accomplish so much.I was just wondering what inspired you to travel so much on a bicycle. Well, I hope you do well on other trips too.
Hey there - I've checked out this site a few times since first reading about your quest in the newspaper a while back and am sooo jealous of your adventures. Your posts are hilarious (in a good way) and your photos are gorgeous (I am quite jealous of them!). Please keep posting your stories and pictures; they're wonderful!
